Materials List
After prototyping, we create a plan for what we need to build the mechanisms by creating a materials list.
Prototyping
After deciding on the potential mechanisms we would use, we started creating prototypes of the different mechanisms. These included prototypes of the grabber and net!

Decision Matrix
We created a decision matrix to decide which idea we would do by ranking each idea in 4 categories: viability, effectiveness, multi use, cost, and compatibility.

Brainstorming
Then, we chose our mechanisms based on the requirements of each challenge. First, we used a table that said all of the possible points we can earn to brainstorm what mechanisms we wanted to build. We brainstormed multiple ideas for the different mechanisms. Then, we wrote the next steps we wanted to take.

The First Steps
First, we like to make sure we understand the game. To do this, we read the rules to determine which missions would be more feasible considering limits such as buoyancy, being able to see with the camera, and timing. Moreover, we acknowledged the issues we encountered last season such as our robot not being completely watertight.
